Homemade Baked "French Fries"

Servings 4| Prep Time 20 minutes| Total Time 45 minutes

INGREDIENTS

4 large Russet Potatoes

1/4 cup to 1/4 cup oiive oil

2 tsp. salt

DIRECTIONS

1. Preheat oven to 500 degrees F.

2. Wash the potatoes, leaving the skin on.

3. Cut the potatoes, length-wise, and cut into evenly sized thin potato sticks.

4. Pour approximately 3 T of olive oil onto a large sheet pan. Place all of the fries on the pan. Move all of the potato pieces around, making sure to coat each piece on all sides. Add more oil, if necessary, but just enough to coat each piece. Generously salt all of the potatoes.

5. Bake at 500 degrees F. for 15 minutes.

6. Use a metal spatula to turn scrape the fries from the pan and flip them over.

7. Bake an additional 15 minutes.

8. For crispy fries, toss again and return to oven for an additional 5 minutes.

9. EAT.
