Tiger Nut Milk

INGREDIENTS

1 cup Tiger Nuts (I use @TigerNutsUSA Premium Organic Tiger Nuts)

3 cups water.

DIRECTIONS

  1. Pour some boiling water over 1 cup of tiger nuts to fully immerse them and soak them for about 24 hours.

  2. The following morning, strain and rinse the semi-softened tiger nuts and then put them in a blender with 3 cups water (sometimes I 2 cups water if I want to make a coffee “creamer”). 

  3. Strain the tiger nut milk using a cheese cloth or nut milk bag.

  4. Transfer the “milk” to a pitcher or closed container to use within 4-5 days.
